- My daughter was more than pleased when this item arrived. It's even nicer in person. It's well made and had a good fit. My only concern is the choice of satin used. My daughter is very rough on her shoes and I was hoping for a durable longer lasting style, but I'm just not sure the satin will last long at all. Sure, it looks really nice, but for how long? Only time will tell...
- I'd previously owned another pair of DC Shoes in a different style, and they were the most comfortable sneakers I'd ever worn. I loved them so much I kept wearing them until I'd literally worn holes in the soles.Unfortunately, it seems current styles do not use the same measurements. These shoes were longer than my old ones, and a bit narrower, but still seemed to fit acceptably when I tried them on (with socks, at the end of the day), so I kept them. This turned out to be a mistake. After wearing them for a few hours (I walk about a mile to the bus stop in the morning, and then work on my feet all day) the forefoot was definitely too narrow.
