I use them mainly for shorter walks or inside the house. I quite enjoy the feeling of the nobbly massage nubs -- but I recommend anyone considering these to try on a pair first. Even if you can't find the women's model in your local shoe store (I couldn't), you can still get a feel by trying on the men's. If you have really sensitive foot-bottoms you may not like them.
