Well, I am glad that I took advantage of this Amazon Deal of the Day! I did follow recommendations and go a 1/2 size up. I am solid 8.5 in sneakers, but I am glad that I got the 9. They were initially snug, but after walking in them for a few minutes they softened right up. They are just a wee bit loose in the toe now, but nothing that will cause discomfort or pain, by far. - These run very small. Other reviews said to buy 1/2 size larger. They returned them for a larger size. Beware that amazon will not exchange them for another size. You will need to return them, pay for the return, then buy again and not get them for the same price as the first pair. Shoes look nice but are a full size smaller.
